According to Memphis Depay’s attorney, he won’t be moving from Barcelona to Inter Milan during the January transfer window.
Inter is one of the clubs reportedly interested in signing the Netherlands striker, who is anticipated to leave Barcelona this month.
Depay has struggled to find first-team opportunities since Robert Lewandowski was acquired by Barcelona; this season, he has made only two LaLiga starts.
Sebastian Ledure, Depay’s attorney, has refuted rumors that the 28-year-old, who has also been linked to Atletico Madrid, may be traveling to San Siro.
“There are no negotiations ongoing for Memphis to join Inter,” he told Fabrizio Romano.
“I can deny all these links, it’s not a possibility that we are discussing.”
The former Lyon and Manchester United forward joined Barca in 2021 and was an unused substitute in the 3-1 Supercopa de Espana victory over Real Madrid on Sunday.
