Ghana international Inaki Williams expressed his joy after playing a key role in Athletic Bilbao’s victory over Barcelona in the Spanish Copa del Rey.
Williams, who had a challenging performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), made a significant impact in Bilbao’s quarter-final win against Barcelona.
Arriving in Spain on the same day, Williams started the game on the bench but came in as a substitute in the 59th minute, replacing Adu Ares.
His notable contributions included scoring a goal in the 105th minute of extra time and providing an assist to his younger brother, Nico Williams.
This performance helped secure a 4-2 victory for Athletic Bilbao, propelling them to the semifinals of the Copa del Rey.
