Real Tamale United beat Hearts of Oak by a narrow 1-0 win on Sunday night in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
The Pride of the North inflicted a 1-0 win over the Phobians at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday evening.
Prior to the game, Baba Nuhu side had suffered a 6-2 defeat to Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Wednesday.
But Manaf Umar’s wonderful strike in the 83rd-minute mark ensured RTU’s return to winning ways.
Despite creating numerous goal-scoring opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net.
The Phobians were punished by their former midfielder Manaf Umar who scored a beautiful goal seven minutes to full time.
