Former Kotoko forward Kwame Poku leaves door open for Ghana Premier League clubs

Former Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Poku has expressed readiness to feature for any Ghana Premier League club.

The forward has requested for a transfer from his outfit USM Algiers in Algeria in a bid to get much playing time.

Poku joined the Algerian club after remarkable first round in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season for the Porcupine Warriors.

Speaking to UTV, he reiterated his desire to return to Kotoko but refused to rule out a move to other Ghana Premier League clubs.

“I have talked to Nana Yaw Amponsah even before I came to Ghana. He had talks with my agent as well”

“Hearts of Oak also engaged my agent but I didn’t get details of what transpired between them”

“At the moment, I can’t say I will play for Kotoko only because no one knows tomorrow. There is a club in the GPL top four who wants to sign me, their coach called me to come and help them win the league. I wish I play for Kotoko but there are a lot in football” he said.
