During the Men’s 4x100m event, Ghana and Nigeria competed in the same heat, with Ghana clinching the top spot and Nigeria securing second place.
Team Ghana clocked an impressive time of 38.29s to claim victory, while Nigeria closely followed with a time of 38.57s.
Liberia joined the Olympic lineup by finishing second in their heat, trailing behind Germany.
Africa will be well-represented in the Men’s 4x100m relay at the Olympics, with South Africa also earning a spot after recording a time of 38.08s to win their heat.
In the women’s 4x100m category, Nigeria and Ivory Coast will proudly represent Africa at the upcoming Olympic Games.
