DANILO: “Working well towards the new season”

During a break in training at Loyola Marymount, Danilo took time out to speak about the Juventus tour and Saturday’s match against Real Madrid, and the defender also took stock of his and the team’s expectations for the upcoming season.

“It will be an exciting match against Real, especially for, having spent two years in Madrid. We are working well these days, experimenting with new game situations. For example, we are working on what the match must be like, in a positive sense, on our “arrogance”, in always being proactive and in wanting to take command of the game.”

This is because in the season that is about to begin Juve must maintain a precise focus: “Returning to winning ways, and this can only be achieved by working, on the physical, athletic, technical but also mental aspects, keeping our feet firmly planted on the ground and facing each match with the same mentality.”

The match against Real brings a wonderful American tour to an end for the Bianconeri: “We have put in some great work over these days. Here in the States it has been wonderful, we have to thank the fans for the wonderful welcome they have given us.”
