The administration of Chris Houghton is expected to see some new faces, tactics among others.
His success is dependent on how good his players are. However, the current Black Stars, despite the massive potential have failed to live up to expectation.
Nonetheless, Houghton will have to give all he has got to ensure he transforms the senior national team.
Here are some players who could help make the coach’s work easier.

One of the most gifted players the Black Stars can employ is the 22-year-old player, who has demonstrated his abilities.
Although a creative midfielder, the youngster’s eye for goals and ability to evade defenders to complete the task demonstrate that he is the main rock the Black Stars can rely on.
Mohammed Salisu

Mohammed Salisu is without a doubt the best center-back who might guide the backline for the Black Stars in the future. Daniel Amartey is already showing signs of aging and has already served his purpose as the solid rock in Ghana’s defense.
Salisu has worked his way up to leading the defense for Premier League team Southampton since joining the Saints. The defensive rock-solid player makes almost no mistakes in his tackles and is quite commanding on the field to keep his teammates on task.
Abdul Salis Samed

Abdul Salis Samed was able to fill a significant vacuum in Ghana’s midfield despite his late entry into the Black Stars, which occurred prior to the commencement of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Salis Samed was always there to make strong interceptions and put some effort into his forward passes, so Ghanaians never had to worry about defensive midfield battles.
Above all, Salis Samed is a good midfield partner for Thomas Partey because Samed protects the defense, allowing the Arsenal player to concentrate more on helping the attack.
Kamaldeen Sulemana

One of the individuals Chris Hughton can construct the team around is the gifted, quick-footed player who is extremely dangerous with the ball.
Kamaldeen Sulemana has always given his all since making the national squad, although it seems that his contribution to the attack is missing.
With his quick movements and ability to generate opportunities, Kamaldeen only requires a strong striker up front to score.
Tariq Lamptey

The right back of the Black Stars has never been the same since John Paintsil and Harrison Afful left.
However, thanks to nationality changes, Ghana has been fortunate to have Tariq Lamptey and Denis Odoi as two players in that position.
Unfortunately for Odoi, his advanced age makes Tariq Lamptey and Samed the two most qualified candidates to fill the team’s right back position.
Tariq Lamptey mixes his primary defensive responsibilities with the role of an attacking right back. The teenager, who is quick and skilled at winning balls, has the potential to be one of the Black Stars’ foundational players.
