Caleb Amankwah claims 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League campaign has been tough

Aduana Stars defender Caleb Amankwah says the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season has been very competitive considering the match results.

The highly rated centre back says it is difficult to predict the outcome of matches this season as he strongly believes all the 18 clubs are up to the task this time around.

The Ghana Premier League is currently on suspension due to the global novel coronavirus pandemic.

“I think the league has been tough this season. To me, the league has been attractive. So, I pray we overcome the deadly disease so we can continue with our matches”.

Also, Amankwah thinks cancelling the entire season because of the pandemic will be a big worry.

“It will be a big worry if we stop or cancel the season. My wish is for us to play the league when the disease is over,” he added.

Amankwah has been instrumental for the Ogya Boys in the season having emerged man of the match on two occasions.

Before the suspension of Ghana top-flight, Aduana Stars were leading the pack with 28 points.
