Black Galaxies to take on Legon Cities today in friendly

Black Galaxies of Ghana will face Premier League side, Legon Cities in a friendly match today as part of preparations ahead of the 2022 CHAN tournament.

The game is schedule to take place at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre in Prampram at 3:00pm.

The Galaxies head into the game on the back of a 2-1 win over Hearts of Oak in a friendly at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram Sunday.

Ghana are housed in Group C and will take on Madagascar on January 15 before playing Sudan (19th) and Morocco (23rd) in the other group C matches.

The Black Galaxies are likely to play one high profile international friendly before the tournament in Algeria.

The Galaxies will be seeking to restore Ghana’s glory in the competition having played in two finals in 2009 and 2014.

Ghana will be featuring in the tournament for the first time in eight years having missed out on the last three editions and will hope to go far in the tournament.
