Baba Iddrisu won most tackles in Mallorca’s defeat against Barcelona

Ghanaian midfielder Baba Iddrisu put up an impressive performance but it wasn’t enough as his side, Real Mallorca were battered 4-0 by Barcelona in La Liga on Saturday.

Messi scored and assisted two goals as the Barcelona maintained their lead at the top of the table while Mallorca remains in the relegation zone.

Although they suffered a heavy defeat, Mallorca gave a positive account of themselves, causing Barcelona defence problems a couple of times.

Baba Iddrisu was one of their best players on the field. The midfielder made a second-half appearance and he impressed.

According to whoscored.com, he won the most tackles in the match (3) in the 33 minutes he spent on the field.

The 24-year-old scored a total rating of 6.4 with midfielder Salva Sevilla, the only Mallorca scoring a better rating (7.1).

Baba has been one of Mallorca’s best players in their bid to avoid relegation this season. He has made 26 appearances this term, missing only a game.
