Athletic Club forward Nico Williams on Tottenham’s radar

Tottenham Hotspur, an English football club, has joined the race to sign Nico Williams, a talented forward of Ghanaian descent from Athletic Club in Spain.

Williams is a sought-after transfer target for several European clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

Chelsea, Liverpool, and Aston Villa from the English Premier League have also shown interest in the attacker, as reported by Footballghana in recent weeks. However, Chelsea seems to have dropped out of the race, with Liverpool now leading in the pursuit of Williams.

FC Barcelona is another club interested in signing Nico Williams and is expected to make a move for him in the summer. Any club serious about signing Williams will need to meet his €50 million release clause in his contract with Athletic Club.

Recent reports suggest that Tottenham Hotspur has also expressed interest in Nico Williams. The club is planning to reinforce its squad next summer and sees Williams as a valuable addition.

Athletic Club can expect several inquiries and offers for their young sensation in the coming months as clubs vie for his signature.
