Ghanaian football legend Asamoah Gyan had a memorable visit to Lome, Togo, where he spent time with former Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
A viral video captures the two football stars enjoying each other’s company at Adebayor’s lavish residence.
In the video, Gyan is seen relishing a relaxed and enjoyable time in the multi-million-dollar mansion, humorously stating, “I’m in Adebayor’s heaven.”
Adebayor, emphasising humility, responds with a laugh, saying, “I’m in Adebayor’s mansion,” eliciting laughter from those present at the gathering.
Asamoah Gyan holds a prominent place in Ghana’s football history as the all-time leading scorer for the Black Stars.
With 51 goals in 109 appearances for Ghana, his memorable goals in the 2006 and 2010 World Cups, as well as the 2015 AFCON, solidify his status as one of the continent’s most accomplished footballers.
Gyan remains the highest goal scorer for Ghana and Africa in the World Cup, scoring six goals across three tournaments.
While Gyan achieved success on the national team level, Adebayor gained global recognition through his performances in the Premier League, representing Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham.
Adebayor, who made over 106 appearances for Arsenal, left a lasting impact on English top-flight football.
