Arsenal ranked the second club in the world with cash in the bank.

Soccerex has ranked Arsenal Second with an Estimated £261.5m in their Bank Account.

They are just £13m behind First ranked team, Manchester United despite the lack of European Football currently eluding the North London Giants at the moment.

This money can be spent on the acquisition of players at any given price without the Breaking and Breaching any Financial Fair Play Rules.

Majority of this money in the Bank now yet to be spent by the Gunners where made during Arsene Wenger’s regime as the Head Coach.

He made these Monies by the prudent management of the club’s resources, the sales of players, and also, other significant investments at the club.

During his time at Arsenal, Wenger have been accused of lack of spending and investing in the team and now, that is very evident in their Bank Account.

Wenger oversaw the sale of high profile players to rival clubs in England and Europe during his regime. This fetched them big amount of money.

The likes of Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri, Robin Van Persie, Alex Song, Kolo Toure, Gael Clichy, Emmanuel Adebayo, Alex Hleb, and host of other high profile players where all sold by Wenger.
