Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool interested in Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah

The 20-year-old made an impression with his outstanding performance against England in their Group B match, but the USA’s loss to the Netherlands prevented him from advancing with his country through the round of 16.

In 2012, at age nine, he moved to London and joined Arsenal’s Academy. In the summer of 2019, Musah joined Valencia, at the age of 16, and was assigned to the reserves in Segunda División B. He made his debut with the B-team at the age of 16 on September 15, 2019, starting in a 0–0 home draw against CF La Nucía.

According to 90Min, Valencia is trying to extend Musah’s contract in an effort to beat off interest from the Premier League. Musah has two assists in 11 appearances for his team so far this season. His current contract, which already expires in 2026, contains a release clause of €100 million (£86 million).
