Alexander Djiku begs his colleagues to keep fighting

Alexander Djiku, a player for Ghana, has urged his Strasbourg teammates to keep fighting as they attempt to avoid relegation from the French Ligue 1.

On Saturday in the French Ligue 1, Djiku started the game and played the entire time as his team defeated Angers 2-1 at home.

In the Stadium de la Meinau, Strabourg won all three points thanks to a first-half brace by Habibou Mouhamadou Diallo.

After the game, Djiku took to social media to urge his teammates to keep fighting as they seek to survive relegation at the end of the season.

“Keep fighting” he tweeted.

Strasbourg are 15th on the league log with 21 points after 24 matches into the campaign.

The 28-year-old has made 22 appearances in the French top-flight this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
