2023 AFCON: Kenpong Travel and Tour to soon announce ‘affordable’ travel packages for Ghanaians


Kenpong Travel and Tour, the foremost travel and tour company in Ghana, has reasserted its position as the leading provider of sports tourism in the country.

The company has announced its role in facilitating travel and accommodation arrangements for Ghanaians planning to attend the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Known for its impeccable track record and esteemed reputation for successfully organising trips for Ghanaians to major football tournaments since 2006, Kenpong Travel and Tour is gearing up to present enticing packages for AFCON 2023.

Having previously managed the flight and accommodation arrangements for Ghanaian football fans during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Kenpong Travel and Tour is expected to unveil attractive packages for all enthusiasts looking forward to experiencing the Ivory Coast tournament.

The forthcoming packages are anticipated to cover not only hotels and in-country travel but also include visits to prominent tourist sites in Ivory Coast, enhancing the overall experience for the attendees.


Significant progress has been made in the preparations for sports tourism at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) by Kenpong Travel and Tour, considered the premier travel and tour company in Ghana.

The Chief Executive Officer, Kennedy Agyapong, also known as Kenpong Cappuccino, has reportedly visited the various host cities in Ivory Coast to finalise accommodation arrangements for potential clients.

Sources suggest that Kenpong has successfully concluded discussions with the State Transport Company, enabling football fans interested in travelling to Ivory Coast by road to partake in the matches.

Anticipated to unveil its offerings on Monday, December 4, 2023, Kenpong is said to have assembled a team of experienced individuals specialising in sports tourism to meticulously handle the arrangements.

The 2023 AFCON is scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024. Ghana, placed in Group E, will compete against Madagascar, Angola, and the Central African Republic in the tournament.
