Former Black Stars assistant coach George Boateng is actively seeking to enhance his coaching skills.
In recent days, he has dedicated much of his time to observing coaching sessions at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground.
During this period, Boateng has had the opportunity to study under the guidance of Manchester United coaches Erik ten Hag and Steve McClaren.
Sources close to Boateng indicate his strong desire to improve himself as he prepares for a potential return to coaching in the near future.
Boateng previously served as the head coach of the Aston Villa U23 team and worked as an assistant coach alongside Otto Addo, contributing to Ghana’s qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Additionally, he assisted former Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton before losing his position when the Ghana Football Association disbanded the technical team following the team’s elimination from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
