Ghanaians are in a state of mourning after reports this morning revealed that Christian Atsu has passed away.
The Turkish rescue team had been in search of the player since February 6, 2023, when a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and Syria.
It was earlier reported that Atsu had been found, but that report was quashed barely 48 hours.
Now, it has been confirmed that the 31-year-old has passed on and Ghanaians are devastated.
Rest in Peace, Christian Atsu.
