In response to his intriguing assertion that a list of Cristiano Ronaldo’s greatest goals exists, Sergio Aguero has sparked a wave of responses online.
Fans are convinced that Aguero has a problem with the Portuguese phenomenon after hearing him critique Ronaldo’s incredible goals.
Given a showcase of some of the Portuguese star’s best goals, Aguero, who is close friends with Ronaldo’s rival Lionel Messi, appeared less than enthused, according to Givemesport.
The retired Argentina international, who turned out for Manchester City and Barcelona, went a notch higher to claim the outstanding goals scored by the Al-Nassr skipper were a stroke of luck.
Was lucky,” Aguero said, as translated by Sportskeeda. He even added that Ronaldo’s 40-yard strike against FC Porto in the Champions League in 2008 was the goalkeeper’s fault.
Aguero’s comment has since convinced social media users that he was ‘hating’ on the Portuguese veteran.
Es increíble lo cuñado que es Agüero. Dice que estos goles de falta que salen en el vídeo son suerte y que el gol al Oporto es culpa del portero jajajaja
