The Dutch police caught a person with a gun who killed at least two people in two separate shootings in the city of Rotterdam.
They are saying that a 32-year-old man started shooting inside a house and then set it on fire. After that, he forcefully entered the Erasmus Medical Center in the city.
He studied at Erasmus University, which is connected to the hospital.
A 39-year-old woman died in the initial shooting. Her daughter, who is 14 years old, was very badly hurt. A man who teaches was killed by a gunshot at the hospital.

During a press conference after the shooting on Thursday, the Rotterdam police mentioned that they were familiar with the shooter, although they did not reveal the person’s identity to the public. He was found guilty of being cruel to animals two years ago.
The police said on X that there wasn’t any evidence of another person with a gun.
The police said the suspect, who has dark hair and is tall, may have been on a motorcycle before they caught him. He had a backpack, headphones, and a handgun with him.
