Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané continued their impressive form by scoring once again as Al Nassr comfortably defeated Al Raed 3-1 on Saturday.
The former Premier League stars have now scored in four consecutive matches in the Saudi Pro League, contributing to Al Nassr’s excellent run of form.
After losing their first two league matches, Al Nassr has bounced back with four consecutive victories, with Ronaldo and Mane playing key roles.
Mané, who joined the Saudi Arabian League after a challenging season at Bayern Munich, opened the scoring just before halftime, while Ronaldo added to the tally late in the game.
Ronaldo currently leads the league in goals this season with seven, while Mane has six to his name.
In other matches, former Newcastle United forward Allan Saint-Maximin scored the decisive goal as Al Ahli triumphed over Al Taawoun in an exciting 3-2 contest.
Steven Gerrard’s team, Al Ettifaq, also secured a win, with former Celtic striker Moussa Dembélé finding the net in a 3-1 victory over Abha.
Al Hilal remains at the top of the league standings following this weekend’s matches, and Neymar made his debut in a convincing 6-1 win against Al Riyadh.
