Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has lauded West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus as an outstanding player ahead of their pivotal Premier League clash on Sunday.
Guardiola’s team faces West Ham United at the Etihad, aiming for victory to secure their fourth consecutive Premier League title.
A draw or loss could potentially allow Arsenal to seize the title, intensifying the pressure on City in the upcoming match.
Guardiola recognized West Ham’s offensive strength, particularly praising Ghanaian Kudus, who has scored 13 goals across all competitions in his debut season with the Hammers.
“Now I’m not thinking one second about next season because it’s West Ham. Four players up front who can create something,” Guardiola stated as reported by EuroFoot.
“Kudus is an exceptional player. Bowen for many years and Antonio, when he’s fit, is unbelievable. Paqueta is a top-class player in that he can do many things. That’s why. All four, from nothing they can do something unique and special. That is my only concern right now.”
With Arsenal fans pinning their hopes on Kudus and his colleagues to potentially bolster their title aspirations, the Gunners currently trail City by two points heading into the last game.
Simultaneously, Arsenal will be facing Everton as the City-West Ham encounter unfolds.
