Coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton, has officially revealed Ghana’s final 27-man squad for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
During a press conference held at the Alisa Hotel, Hughton not only disclosed the selected players but also fielded questions from the media.
The roster includes familiar names such as Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew, and Daniel Amartey, among others.
However, the list of notable absentees comprises Thomas Partey, Tariq Lamptey, Baba Rahman, Fatawu Issahaku, and Kamaldeen Sulemana.
Notably, three local players, including Kotoko’s Richmond Lamptey and Medeama duo Hamid Abdul Fatawu and Jonathan Sowah, have earned spots on the squad.
