Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey is set to miss the upcoming friendly matches for the Black Stars during the March international break.
The national team is gearing up to face Nigeria and Uganda as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
While most regular players will be called up for the matches, Partey will be given the opportunity to sit out due to his recent recovery from injury.
Despite his absence, sources indicate that Partey remains dedicated to the Black Stars and will respond to future call-ups.
Additionally, the Ghana Football Association is expected to announce a new head coach for the team this week, who will then select the squad for the friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda scheduled for March 22nd and 26th, respectively.
