Arsenal received a significant boost with the return of Thomas Partey to training after a period of injury, just in time for their crucial Champions League match against Sevilla.
The Ghanaian midfielder had been sidelined since October due to a hamstring injury, causing him to miss several games, including the recent home match against Liverpool.
Unfortunately, his recovery faced a setback, which also prevented him from participating in the recently concluded 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Ivory Coast.
However, the 30-year-old is now back on track and has trained with the team ahead of their Champions League Round of 16 first-leg clash against FC Porto in Portugal on Wednesday.
Partey, who previously played for Atletico Madrid, has not featured in the Champions League this season for Arsenal. His last appearance was back in October against Manchester City.
As he makes his comeback, fans are eager to see him in action against Porto and possibly in the upcoming Premier League fixture against Newcastle United on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium.
