NPP member slams Roland Walker for ‘attacking’ Bawumia on Mahama’s orders

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Abdul Rauf Ibrahim, has accused broadcast journalist Roland Walker of bias and working to undermine the ruling party’s image.

In a post on social media platform X, Ibrahim accused Mr Walker of allegedly attacking NPP flagbearer and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Ibrahim claimed that Walker’s actions were orchestrated by former President John Mahama and NDC Communications Officer Sammy Gyamfi to tarnish Dr. Bawumia‘s image.

And for undertaking such actions, Ibrahim alleges that Mr Walker has been appointed as the Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Social Media Team.

“Congratulations to Roland Walker of TV3 for his appointment as the Director of the NDC Social Media Team. Man has truly worked hard for this appointment. He was tasked by John Mahama and Sammy Gyamfi to throw his profession to the Dogs and attack Dr. Bawumia and the NPP at any given opportunity for this appointment,” he wrote.

Mr Walker has not publicly responded to the allegations, and there has been no official confirmation from the NDC regarding his reported appointment.
