NPP releases committees  to oversee vetting of parliamentary aspirants 

New Patriotic Party (NPP) has unveiled committees responsible for overseeing the vetting process of Parliamentary aspirants in constituencies with incumbent MPs. 

This announcement came through a press statement dated January 1, 2024, signed by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong.

As outlined in the statement, the vetting of aspiring Parliamentary Candidates is slated to occur in all regional capitals from Wednesday, January 3, 2024, to Friday, January 5, 2024. 

Additionally, the NPP has directed all Regional Executive Committees to ensure the prompt dissemination of information concerning the date, time, and venue of the vetting process to their respective constituencies and aspiring parliamentary Candidates.

The press statement also disclosed that the party has designated specific individuals to serve as National representatives on the vetting committees across different regions.

Furthermore, the vetting process for aspiring Parliamentary Candidates in the Bawku Central, Ketu North, and Akatsi North constituencies has received confirmation from the party.

In addition, the statement outlined the establishment of a National Parliamentary Appeals Committee (NPAC) tasked with addressing appeals from aspirants and other stakeholders.

The NPP conveyed its expectation of full cooperation from all stakeholders to ensure the seamless conduct of the primaries and extended its best wishes to all aspiring candidates.
