Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Mr Kennedy Agyapong, has declared his intention to campaign for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming political season.
However, his allegiance seems to have limitations, as he expressed uncertainty about supporting certain Members of Parliament (MPs) within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr. Agyapong, known for his candid and sometimes controversial statements, made these remarks during a recent public engagement.
He affirmed his commitment to actively advocate for Vice President Bawumia.
“For the Vice President, I’ll campaign for him. I call him and we have a good laugh over issues,” he said.
However, when it comes to supporting certain NPP MPs, the Assin Central MP seems to have reservations.
Agyapong voiced concerns about what he described as disrespectful attitude exhibited towards him by some members of the party including MP for Awutu Senya East, Mavis Hawa Koomson, MP for Banatama, Francis Asenso-Boakye, MP for Nsawam/Adoagyiri, Frank etc, and vowed to campaign against them.
