The Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, is set to be awarded as the “most dynamic Minister” in the Akufo-Addo Administration.
The award, presented by the Education and Management Training Foundation (EDMAT Foundation) on November 4, 2023, acknowledges his exceptional performance and leadership in the two ministries he has overseen in the current government.
The Executive Director of the EDMAT Foundation, Dr. Robert Okyne, signed a statement recognizing Dr. Prempeh’s outstanding contributions, particularly in leading the implementation of the Free Senior High School Policy.
The foundation commended his transformative impact on the education sector and the revitalization of education policies.
The statement emphasized Dr. Prempeh’s current role as Energy Minister, highlighting the successful achievements attributed to him.
The foundation expressed confidence that both the President and Ghanaians view him as the most dynamic Minister, describing him as a “bulldozer and Mender.”
Earlier in July, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh received an honorary Doctor of Educational Leadership Degree from the University of Cape Coast for his exceptional performance as Minister of Education.
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) and the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) had previously conferred similar honors.
In addition to these academic recognitions, he was named the Best Minister in 2019 and 2022 and received honors from the Civil Service for his outstanding leadership.
