Ghanaian musician Medikal has opened up about the dissolution of his parents’ marriage during his childhood.
He attributed their divorce to misunderstandings, which led them to separate in search of individual peace.
The full impact of this event only became clear to him as he grew older and gained a deeper understanding of relationships and their complexities.
In an interview with Bola Ray on Starr FM’s Starr Chat, Medikal revealed, “I was 13 years old when my parents divorced.”
These revelations come amidst Medikal’s ongoing public disputes with his estranged wife, Fella Makafui, including an allegation that she reported him to the authorities.
The conflict is said to have stemmed from Medikal’s demand that Fella’s cousin move out of their shared home.
The couple is currently involved in a legal battle over the ownership of their house and custody of their daughter.
