Ghanaian international Kudus Mohammed has been included in West Ham United’s squad for their match against Luton Town on September 1, 2023, at Kenilworth Road.
Kudus, who signed a five-year deal with West Ham for €44.5 million after transferring from Ajax, is expected to play a significant role in Coach David Moyes’s team.
He has been training with his new teammates in preparation for the upcoming match and is vying for a spot in the starting lineup.
With this move, Kudus became the third Ghanaian player to join West Ham United, following in the footsteps of John Paintsil and Andre Ayew, who both had spells with the club.
Furthermore, Kudus is likely to be named in Ghana’s 23-man squad for the 2023 AFCON qualifier against the Central African Republic, scheduled for September 7, 2023, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
