Management, technical teams of Great Olympics dissolved after GPL relegation

Great Olympics has announced significant changes in response to their relegation from the Ghana Premier League, as reported by 3news.com.

The club has decided to dissolve both its management and technical teams, which were respectively led by Oluboi Comodore and Jimmy Cobblah.

In their place, an interim committee has been appointed to oversee operations during this transitional phase.

Taking charge temporarily are Lawyer Kwame Takyi Fianoo and Oluboi Comodore, who will manage the club’s affairs until suitable permanent replacements are identified and appointed.

The club’s board is determined to implement necessary measures aimed at a swift return to the Ghana Premier League.

Further announcements regarding new appointments for the Management and Technical Teams will be made in due course.

The “Wonder Club” finished the 2023/2024 season with 44 points, leading to their relegation to the second tier for the first time since 2017.

Following their recent setback, the Board of Directors, under the leadership of Amarkai Amarteifio, has opted to overhaul the current leadership structure to rejuvenate the club.
