A social media user, going by the name Octopus Trudy and the username @179858, has chimed in on the ongoing controversies revolving around renowned film actress and host of Onua TV’s “OnuaShow Time,” Nana Ama McBrown.
The speculation pertains to McBrown’s alleged pending divorce from her husband, Maxwell.
In a tweet spotted by The Independent Ghana, Octopus Trudy seemed to undermine McBrown’s efforts to quash rumours about her alleged marital troubles.
Trudy stated that the actress’s enigmatic posts on TikTok will not alter the reality that she is sharing her husband with “Accra slay queens.”
The tweet read: “Nana Ama McBrown is doing innuendos and indirect jabs on TikTok. Madam, your husband belongs to the Accra slay queens.”

Octopus Trudy continued her commentary by offering unsolicited advice. She suggested that McBrown should either terminate the relationship or let the other women in her husband’s life enjoy his company. “Since you won’t leave him, keep quiet and let the small girls enjoy some,” she added.
Rumours surrounding the couple’s possible divorce first emerged following allegations by an Instagram influencer known as “Those Called Celebs.”
The influencer claimed that Maxwell had been unfaithful to his wife with social media sensation Serwaa Prinkles. According to the influencer, Maxwell had even proposed divorce, prompting McBrown to vacate their marital home.
In a subtle retort to these claims, McBrown took to her Instagram page to share uplifting messages such as “It is well” and “Don’t believe the reports about men. If God says yes, no man can say no.” She also displayed her wedding ring in some of her photographs, potentially indicating that her marriage is still intact.
It’s crucial to point out that neither McBrown nor Maxwell have officially confirmed or denied these rumours, leaving the situation steeped in uncertainty.
Importantly, there is yet to be any concrete evidence supporting these allegations.
