Kumasi sees increased Police patrol ahead of Christmas festivities

The Ghana Police Service has taken proactive measures to enhance security in the capital of the Ashanti Region, Kumasi, as part of a strategic initiative to safeguard public safety during the festive season and beyond.

To bolster their visibility in the Kumasi Metropolitan area, the police have increased patrols involving vehicles, motorcycles, and horses.

This heightened presence is aimed at creating a secure environment for residents and their properties during the yuletide celebrations.

A press release from the police service indicated that plans are in place to extend this security initiative to cover other regions.

A comprehensive rollout of patrols involving motorbikes, horses, and the K9 Unit (dogs) is set to be implemented across the entire country.
