Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus has been awarded West Ham United’s Goal of the Season for his stunning solo effort against Freiburg.
Kudus demonstrated remarkable courage and skill as he dribbled from his own half, evading defenders before calmly slotting the ball past the goalkeeper in a Europa League match against the German side.
The announcement was made on Saturday, May 11, ahead of West Ham’s Premier League clash against Luton Town.
The 23-year-old midfielder joined West Ham from Ajax during the 2023 summer transfer window and has quickly become a fan favorite at the London Stadium.
Kudus has been instrumental for David Moyes’ side, contributing to 19 goals in all competitions, with 13 goals and six assists to his name.
