Renowned crooner KK Fosu recently made headlines with his bold declaration of allegiance to the New Force Movement, following the release of his new song ‘Back to Sender’.
The track, which takes aim at detractors of Cheddar, leader of the movement, comes in the aftermath of a confrontation with the government over the cancellation of his rally at Black Stars Square.
During a statement marked by removing his sunglasses for added emphasis, the ‘Odo Nti’ singer proclaimed, “I am a New Force Movement member. I want my face to show while saying this clearly.”
KK Fosu didn’t shy away from highlighting the ideological contrasts between the New Force Movement and the traditional political landscape dominated by the NPP and NDC.
He asserted that members of established parties are often driven by self-interest, whereas those in the New Force Movement are viewed as “freedom fighters.”
Explaining the inspiration behind his song, KK Fosu clarified that it serves as a rebuttal to efforts aimed at discrediting the New Force Movement, particularly its leader, Cheddar.
