Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has declared his unwavering commitment to spearhead an energetic campaign for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, be chosen as the running mate.
In a notable endorsement, it has been asserted that the Energy Minister stands out as the sole member of the cabinet whose interpersonal connections with party members are truly commendable, prompting recognition that is worth highlighting.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, an individual of such caliber merits a spot on the New Patriotic Party’s ticket if the party aims to secure victory and break the eight-year cycle.
Characterizing all other ministers as unappreciative individuals, he went on to emphasize that he would refuse to engage in campaign activities for the NPP if any alternative candidate is selected as the running mate.
“Some ministers who have received my help in the past are now ungrateful. Apart from NAPO, every minister is ungrateful. If you mention NAPO as my running mate, today I will come and campaign for the NPP. If they mention any other person, I will not campaign”.
“When you go to the office of NAPO and you see how he relates to party people it is so appealing. I am telling you this today,” he told party delegates in Kumasi.
