Joao Felix has expressed his contentment with playing for Barcelona, amidst ongoing reports indicating a potential permanent signing by the Catalan club.
Since joining Barcelona on loan from Atletico Madrid on transfer deadline day, the Portuguese forward has been in excellent form. He has notched three goals and contributed as many assists in his eight appearances for the Catalan giants.
He openly shares his satisfaction with being a part of the club.
Speaking to reporters, Felix said, “As you can see, I’m happy where I am; I feel good and confident and I feel like I’m going through a good moment. The most difficult thing is to maintain a good level, something that I have not achieved for some time in recent seasons.
“But I work every day and I always try to improve to correct those less positive aspects of myself. And yes, I am happy and going through a good time.”
The current La Liga winners are allegedly planning a fair offer to deliver the striker to Atletico Madrid in order to sign him permanently next summer, according to a report from Sport.
The 23-year-old forward’s next appearance for Xavi’s team will come on October 22, when they take on Athletic Club in La Liga.
