The Ghana Police Service has expanded its investigation into the murder of Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer of the Cosy Hill Hotel (Jirapa Dubai) in Jirapa, Upper West Region.
Mr Johnson was found brutally murdered in one of the hotel rooms on Sunday, February 11, triggering a thorough investigation.
In a recent development, two additional suspects, identified as Charles Tuoze and Favour Nuobe, both employees of the Cossy Hill Hotel, have been detained by the police. They are currently assisting with ongoing investigations.
With the latest arrests, the total number of suspects in custody has risen to seven. Previously apprehended individuals include Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix, Michael Klugey, and Kumbata Kwaku.
Following the tragic incident, Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, deployed a team of investigators to collaborate with the Upper West Regional Crime Scene Management Team. Their joint efforts aim to swiftly apprehend the perpetrators and ensure justice is served.
