Folarin Falana, better known by his stage name ‘FalzTheBhadGuy,’ has candidly shared details about his romantic life, revealing that he has been single since his teenage years.

The 33-year-old Nigerian rapper, songwriter, and actor disclosed during an interview on the Morning Rush show that he hasn’t been in a relationship since he was 18 years old.

“I am very, very single. My last relationship was in 2008 when I was 18. I am not avoiding it, but it’s been like a rollercoaster ride. There could be different things, different reasons. It keeps changing, and I just haven’t felt ready,” Falz explained.

Known for his wit and insightful lyrics, Falz also discussed the qualities he values in a potential partner, emphasizing that he looks beyond physical appearance.

“For me, it’s about the energy a woman exudes, her aura. Aura is everything to me,” he shared.

Falz elaborated on this point, highlighting a shift in his preferences over the years: “When I talk about aura, I don’t mean it lightly. I used to think I liked light-skinned babes or maybe those with big breasts, those superficial things. But now, it’s beyond that. It’s about what kind of energy do you radiate? That’s what matters. Just your energy alone can make a man feel alive, aroused, like he needs to.”

Discussing family expectations, Falz mentioned that while his relatives are eager for him to find a life partner, they support his desire to navigate the journey without succumbing to societal pressures or trends like the ‘baby mama‘ phenomenon.

“My family is supportive, but they understand that it’s important to do it right, without unnecessary drama,” Falz affirmed.

FalzTheBhadGuy has gained acclaim not only for his music but also for his roles in Nigerian cinema, where he has carved a niche with his unique blend of humor, social commentary, and cultural insight.

As he continues to focus on his career and personal growth, fans and admirers eagerly await what the multi-talented artist will bring next, both in his artistic endeavors and his journey toward finding love.
