Seasoned radio personality and host of Kokrokoo on Peace FM, Kwami Sefa Kayi, has unequivocally rejected a recent prophecy suggesting he could be named as the running mate to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. During the December 1, 2023 edition of Kokrokoo, a listener shared a prophecy foreseeing Sefa Kayi in the role, to which he promptly responded, asserting his limitations and capabilities.
“Don’t worry, I will not be Bawumia’s running mate. It will not happen, so, don’t worry,” Sefa Kayi declared on air. “I will not be his running mate; they say every man should know his limitations and capabilities. Prof. Agyekum has a saying that ‘there are some prayers, you are only disturbing God when you say it.’”
This recent development comes in the wake of a prophecy made in October 2017 by Head Pastor Samuel Okyere of Empire of Prayer Ministries, predicting that Sefa Kayi would become the youngest president in Ghana’s history. The prophecy stated that after President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Sefa Kayi would assume the presidency without the need for a campaign.
According to Prophet Okyere Amankwaa, Sefa Kayi had been chosen by God for the presidency, and he would hold the position for eight years. The pastor urged the seasoned broadcast journalist to tread cautiously, as he would be “one of the presidents Ghanaians will love so much.”
