Deputy Minister of trade and industries, Mr. Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah has affirmed that, he went to various voter ID registration centers to inspect how things are moving even with his positive coronavirus case on Monday when the Electoral commission began the process.
The Tema West MP said he tested positive a week ago but his doctor said he can go out and so, he took that decision to go and ascertain how the process of registering the people in his area is ongoing.
The MP said even though he tested positive, he is not weak and he still stands fit so the general public should disregard any speculations that may follow his positive case.
The Electoral commission started the compilation of the new Voter’s register on 30th june, specifying safety protocols that the general public should adhere to in other to avoid the outbreak of the virus. But the MP said he took his virus to the centers, meaning not one, to find out how things are going. Is this right? Leave your comments in the box
