Ghanaian musician and model, Sister Derby, has stirred social media with her recent revelation that, despite believing in God, she distances herself from any religious affiliation.
In an interview with YFm, Derby expressed her conviction that religion serves as the root of much evil in the country, leading her to reject it entirely.
During the interview, she asserted that religion fuels this discrimination, causing people to harbour unfounded hatred towards each other.
Sister Derby’s stance on supporting the LGBT community has been consistent, making her recent comments aligned with her previous advocacy.
Despite her firm beliefs, social media users have not hesitated to criticize her, labelling her as confused for her unconventional perspective on spirituality and religion.
“Religion is the root cause of everything evil, am not religious but I believe in supernatural power.”
