Head of New Media for the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia campaign, Krobea Kwabena Asante refuted claims from The Anchor Newspaper suggesting Hon. Dan Botwe had resigned from his role as Chairman of Bawumia’s campaign team.
Asante clarified on social media that Botwe, the Member of Parliament for Okere constituency, Eastern Region of Ghana, remains in his position as campaign chairman.
He emphasized that Botwe is not the Campaign Manager and urged the public to disregard what he labeled as false information.
“Hon. Dan Botwe is not the Campaign Manager for him to resign as the Campaign Manager. He is the Campaign Chairman and has not resigned. Ignore that fake news,” Krobea Kwabena Asante clarified.
