Renowned rapper and producer, Andre Romelle Young  known popularly as Dr. Dre was basking in the warmth of appreciation during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

The 59-year-old icon was bestowed with his own star on Tuesday, surrounded by loved ones who came to share in this special moment.

Among those who paid tribute were Jimmy Iovine, Dre’s Beats Electronics co-founder and CEO of Interscope Geffen A&M, and his longtime friend and collaborator Snoop Dogg, who delivered heartfelt speeches.

The event also saw the presence of Eminem and 50 Cent, showing their unwavering support for Dre.

Snoop Dogg, 52, expressed his gratitude in a unique way, saying, “I wanna thank me for listening to Dre over the years and letting him be my teacher, mentor, brother, guardian, protector, and most importantly, a good friend.”

He then delighted the crowd with an impromptu rap, drawing cheers and applause.

Reflecting on their enduring partnership, Snoop rapped, “Dr. Dre, my brother from another mother, a rock in the sand on the beach he’d soon discover, now we deep cover blood brothers on a mission.” He continued with admiration, acknowledging Dre’s perfectionism and the impact of their collaborations on the music world.

Iovine also praised Dre, calling him “the greatest ever” and highlighting his remarkable contributions to entertainment. The unveiling of Dre’s star was a moment of pride, with the rappers standing together in celebration, capturing the essence of their longstanding camaraderie.

Eminem’s presence was significant, emphasising the deep bonds between the artists. Dre previously lauded Eminem’s talents, asserting, “His imagination is off the charts, and I don’t think anyone would disagree with that.”

Their connection transcends music, as evidenced by Eminem’s mention of how Dre’s health scare brought unity and ended a feud between him and Snoop Dogg.
