Rapper, Sarkodie has diagnosed Ghana Music Industry problems and has finally settled on why the music industry is facing difficulty in breaking into the global music scenes.
Sarkodie says Ghanaians are selfish and individualistic in nature and that is reflected in the music industry hence its failure to globalize.
He made this known when he spoke to Dentaa on the “Dentaa Showâ€.
Tema-based rapper noted that the Nigerians made it a conscious effort to enter the global music market and therefore came together and through events they broke in the UK, USA and other bigger markets.
Sarkodie mentioned that upon a successful joint event, the Nigerian artistes individually also sold out shows.
He noted that this cannot be done in Ghana because everyone in Ghana wants everything to him/herself and not the collective good of the country.
