The “Year of Return, Ghana 2019” marked the beginning of a significant campaign in Ghana, encouraging members of the black diaspora to reconnect with their roots and explore new opportunities within the country.

Since its inception, Ghana has witnessed a notable influx of both diaspora and foreign visitors, particularly during the festive season.

Prominent figures, including WWE champion Kofi Kingston, Idris Elba, Boris Kodjoe, Usher, Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and Chance the Rapper, have made high-profile visits to Ghana following this initiative.
