Fulham is open to letting Joao Palhinha join Bayern Munich, provided they secure a replacement.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg of Tottenham is one of the options being considered, according to sources informed by ESPN’s James Olley.
Fulham and Bayern have agreed on a transfer fee of around €65 million for Palhinha.
However, Palhinha’s move to Bayern hinges on whether Fulham can successfully acquire a suitable replacement before the transfer window closes on Friday night.
ESPN’s sources have revealed that Fulham initially turned down an offer earlier in the week, but Bayern returned with an improved bid that Fulham found acceptable, especially since Palhinha is eager to make the move to the Bundesliga champions.
Additionally, Fulham is nearing the completion of a £20 million deal to sign Everton winger Alex Iwobi, with the 27-year-old currently undergoing a medical examination.
