Leader and founder of the Great Fire Pentecostal Church, Bishop Bonegas, has recounted a tragic event from his life when he lost his second-born child due to financial constraints preventing him from seeking medical treatment.

He explained that during the early stages of his ministry, he struggled financially, making it impossible for him to gather the required GH¢5 to take his child to the hospital.

Despite embarking on a two-week evangelism campaign, he couldn’t raise the funds. Even when he borrowed money from someone, it was too late.

In an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, Bishop Bonegas revealed that his child passed away in his arms upon arrival at the hospital.

“There was a time when my second-born got sick with malaria. I needed just GH¢5, not GH¢50, to take my child to the hospital but it was difficult. I preached in town for almost two weeks but I didn’t get the money. The day somebody borrowed me GH¢5, the moment we got to the hospital, my child died in my hands,” he recounted.

Bishop Bonegas further stressed that he did not become who he is today by fluke, adding that he has encountered challenges in his ministry work.

  1. This is where I come in Every person we see has a story to tell Reasonably I have never seen anyone entering the Palace of fame without passing through the gates of difficulties. We may never know the pain of people hence will never understand their praise.
So to some of us whose Profession is to insult, demean, defame and demean our colleagues young or old rich or poor, daily on social media.
Let us take judicial notice that know before you speak!!

  2. You are supposed to have been CALLED BY GOD TO DO HIS WORK as all you pastors claim. And what happened and you were abandoned like that. You see, what pastors do is working to feed themselves, earning their money through the toil of the innocent and gullible population who are promised falsely by these so called men of God to have their problems solved while they themselves have no solution to their own woes. This man is not alone. All of them are like that, then they grow rich on the back of unquestioning followers. It’s a pithy.
