Personal terms have been reached between Romelu Lukaku and Juventus, as reported by Sky Italia. However, the Belgium striker’s move to Juventus hinges on Chelsea’s approval.
Lukaku, at 30 years old, has agreed to a three-year contract with the Italian club, which includes an option for a further season.
Juventus has put forth a proposal: they are willing to take Lukaku this summer if Chelsea secures the signature of Juve striker Dusan Vlahovic and pays €40 million as part of the arrangement.
The Serbia international, Vlahovic, was acquired by Juve for €70 million from Fiorentina in January 2022.
However, the 23-year-old has struggled to replicate his prolific goal-scoring form under the management of Massimiliano Allegri.
Lukaku, who joined Chelsea from Inter Milan for €115 million in 2021, experienced a less-than-ideal 2022-23 season while on loan at the Italian club. He purportedly declined a permanent return to Inter and is considering an offer to play in Saudi Arabia.
